La Sexta is a general-interest television channel with national coverage, on air since 27 March 2006. Its programming has specialised in news and the analysis of current political affairs. In June 2026 it recorded an average audience share of 5.5%, placing it as the sixth most-watched free-to-air television channel in Spain.
El Muro is the opinion section of laSexta.com, the digital portal of La Sexta. It carries individually bylined pieces, though their publication takes place under the masthead and editorial responsibility of laSexta.com and, by extension, of the channel’s editorial structure.
